permissions - Cannot create any objects in a folder after setting up a new workflow state in Plone -
i have issues plone 4.3.1 permission settings. have come long way existing documentation , aspelli's book. cannot figure out why unable create object in folder, site administrator, after setting workflow-state grants permissions specific user role.
the workflow-state called "show_external" , permissions set through permissions tab of workflow state follows:
permission acquire site admin ext_supplier access content information - x x list folder contents - x x modify portal content - x x view - x x i not want "acquire" permissions because new role external supplier has no business else on particular site.
the result - against expected - no 1 can create object. option shown in interface, attempt results in error please correct indicated errors.. no errors indicated however.
what can make objects (folders , files) in folder , copy paste them folder set in workflow-state. stranger still, once copy folder subfolder external supplier folder can add files through quickupload, not selecting "add file".
what missing in understanding of permissions?
