asp.net - 404.17 - Unable to serve any aspx pages -

i unable website loaded in-browser after deploying our server.

the specific error i'm getting is:

http error 404.17 - not found requested content appears script , not served static file handler.

i've checked out few other questions talking error , have done research online well.

• i can verify asp.net installed (both 3.5 , 4.5).
• i can verify .aspx found in handlers site.
• the site running in .net v4.0 application pool
• i've run aspnet_regiis.exe -i executable command line in appropriate folder.
• i running iis 8.0

any appreciated...

let me know if can provide further detail.

in windows server 2012, there's 2 different places see if asp.net installed.
