i have never developed wordpress website scratch or default template or parent theme or starter theme. mean, have maintained created wp websites.

however, want try create wp beginning. have mock of website liek booklet, means, has many pages (about 40) , pages differes content - has images, has additional graphics, has text etc. website consists of static pages different layout.

what suggestions newby... previosly have read underscore , thematic , both. tehre suitable purpsoes?

1. i don't have dig trough parent theme documentation hooks , filters
2. it not bloated unnecessary functions
3. download package customized theme name , slug, meaning functions have appropriate prefixes/names
