right have html file , i'm trying convert master page. i'm using vm on cloudshare.
so create new site collection , go site settings. under “look , feel”, design manager isn’t there i’ve found if go “site collection features” under “site collection administration”, , activate “sharepoint server publishing infrastructure” design manager show up. go design manager, under edit master pages none of file or folder names show up, , when convert html file status column doesn’t show either, can’t go preview or snippets gallery.
the thing can find online create new site collection, i’ve tried few times. happened on old cloudshare vm, , creating new site collection fixed it, it’s not working this. can help?
personally when working new master pages have found best application use sharepoint designer. should able download free. here instructions configure sharepoint designer using cloudshare.
