kml - Using writekml in stata to create maps in google earth -

i'm trying use writekml in stata create kml map can open in google earth. have exact geographic coordinates of places need map , they're stored under variable headers "latitude" , "longitude." command run is:

writekml, filename(xyzmap) plcategory(village_types) 

the file exporting showing blank , and none of markers showing in google earth.

note:

1. i've created maps using shapefiles want ones in google maps because of greater detail

2. i've been able manually convert xls file containing latitudes , longitudes kml , opening google earth know coordinates fine.
