have got experience/thoughts on using iriscouch or cloudant heroku? have use cloudant (as offered add-on)?
what pros/cons?
i'm working on application heavy in geo information , needs distributed globally. of above mentioned faster (lower latency) in particular region (mostly interested in europe , australia)?

i don't know iriscouch have offer in regard, cloudant's search feature lets search in geographic regions. also, when sign can choose want account live. pick 1 in europe or 1 close wherever heroku's servers are. if it's not right place, can move later.
